NISSAN DATSUN CAR Manual PDF Download

1. The Event will be conducted under the International Sporting Code of the Federation Internationale de l'Automobile, the National Competition Rules of the Confederation of Australian Motor Sport Ltd. (CAMS), the National Motorkhana Code, the CAMS Come & Try Policy, the Guidelines for Passengers in Vehicles, these Supplementary Regulations, and any Further Regulations or Instructions issued by the Organisers. This Event will be conducted under and in accordance with CAMS OH&S and Risk Management Policies, which can be found on the CAMS website at www.cams.com.au Promoters and Organising Club: M.G. Car Club of SA 2. Permit: The event will be conducted under the following CAMS Organising Permit Number. 512/1103/01 3. Name of the Event: Motorkhana Series, Round 1. 4. Type of Event: Multi Club Motorkhana, open to members of SA Clubs affiliated with CAMS which will incorporate a non-competitive Come & Try component (refer to section 35 of the supplementary regulations). 5. The Event will be held at Woolworths Distribution Centre, Monarto, SA 6 The Event will be held on a Concrete Surface. 7 Number of Tests conducted will be a minimum of 4 tests. 8 There will be two runs per test and the fastest time will be used in the computation of results. (Method of scoring will be explained at the Competitors Briefing). 9 Licences: minimum requirement is a CAMS Level 2NS (or 2SE) Licence for entry to the Motorkhana. The minimum licence requirement is a CAMS Level 1 Licence for entry to the “Come and Try” non-competitive section of this Motorkhana. 10 Officials Director:/Secretary: Tim Edmonds 11 Stewards: Susan Stephenson & Barry Kitts 12 Entries Open with publication of these Regulations. Entries close on the day of the event at the end of the scrutiny time allocated below. Any entries must be made on the official Entry Form (copy attached) with all relevant details correctly filled out. Entries-to the Event Secretary, c/o the MG Car Club of SA.: Cost $25 (Junior $12); Come & Try: Cost $30 (which includes the cost of a CAMS Level 1 Licence). 13 Maximum Number of Entries: 70 (refer para 28) to be accepted in order of receipt until places are filled. Maximum Number of Entries to the “Come and Try” section of the event is 15. 14 Maximum Number of Drivers per Vehicle: 4 15 Scrutiny at Venue: 9.30 am to 10.30am 16 Scrutiny: Competitors are reminded of Article 6 of the National Motorkhana Code and all vehicles must comply with Schedule A and Group 4H regulations of the CAMS Manual.. The following documents are to be presented at Scrutiny – completed and signed Entry Form, Club Membership card, CAMS Competition Licence, (Log Book if issued for vehicle). (Cars entered in a motorkhana do not require fire extinguishers, bonnet restraints and the like; nor are drivers required to wear neck-to wrist clothing. Crash helmets are not required to be worn, except for drivers of Specials, (refer clause 10.4 of the Motorkhana Code and para 36 below), but their use is strongly recommended. Appropriate footwear is required – no thongs, etc). All apparel shall be in accordance with Schedule D of the current CAMS Manual. Fuel must be in accordance with Schedule G. Vehicles must be adequately muffled to comply with noise restrictions.

Any special requirements of the Organising Club are noted as follows: Invitation runs may be held at the end of competition for a maximum of one hour. These runs will only be available to Level 2NS (minimum) licence holders driving vehicles scrutineered for the event. Invitation runs are for practice only and will not form part of the competition.

Free Datsun 240Z Chassis Jig Notes Manual PDF

The jig in the pictures can be seen on www.vord.net/cars/240z/ It is based on the Factory manual 1972 Factory service manual (available to download from http://www.xenons30.com/reference.html ) Should that page disappear, the only bit really missing in the reproduction here is the 913mm dimension between the center of the strut tops. The drawings in this file were produced free hand and are not to scale. All calculations were done in my head. I may have made mistakes and you should check the dimensions before using them yourself. The original vertical zero in the manual is the lower surface of the floor panel (so far as I can make out). My zero is the top face of the flat surface that the jig sits on (200mm lower). This is to allow access with welders and angle grinders. The jig was constructed using 5mm plate and 50mm square box with 2.5mm wall thickness. There are only side to side and vertical dimensions in this pdf. I’ll make sure the foreaft dimensions are the same each side on this car, but those dimensions I’ll take from the shell itself. It occurs to me that some people searching for chassis jigs might have suffered a frontal crash. The factory manual reproduced on the next page should offer some good clues for fore-aft dimensions.

EPT1 Design Document By Al Lococo 1972 Datsun Pickup Electric Conversion This is the revised version of the original Design Document, revised over 40 years after the converted vehicle was put on the road on November 1 This document contains what I can recall from my notes of the EPT1 design. It contains varying levels of detail. Many areas are sketchy. This information is offered without warranty. The conversion of an automobile drive train is not to be undertaken lightly. My name is Al Lococo. In 1979 I lived in Wappingers Falls, New York and was interested in converting a car to electric. I often traveled to San Jose on business. I obtained an EAA contact address of 1674 Merrill Drive. On my next trip to San Jose on May 28 1979 , I looked in the phone book for Walter Laski and called him on the phone. On Wednesday may 30 with him. He was waiting for me when I arrived. I was surprised that he didn’t have an EV. th , I had a short visit visit He advised me to visit some one who had a conversion manual for a 72 Datsun pickup truck. His name was Clarence Ellers (Phone 295-8532 then). I no longer have the manual although I have copies of several pages. I visited Clarence at 2892 Mesquite Drive in Santa Clara. He had a yellow Datsun Pickup. Illustration 1: Here are three of Clarence’s cars the yellow pickup is on the left. He was working on a custom frame for a kit car for his next ground up home built electric. It was a going to be a Fibefab Aztec 7 composite body sports car. He may have mentioned the fact that it would be a hybrid. If he did it went over my head. I was more interested in the yellow Datsun Pickup. It was very attractive parked in the street in front of the house. The garage was occupied with the frame and running gear for his new project. I bought his manual for $40.00 and and arranged for him to ship me a motor. I returned to New York and purchased a Datsun Pickup and converted it using the manual.
