1. The Event will be conducted under the International Sporting Code of the Federation Internationale de
l'Automobile, the National Competition Rules of the Confederation of Australian Motor Sport Ltd. (CAMS), the National
Motorkhana Code, the CAMS Come & Try Policy, the Guidelines for Passengers in Vehicles, these Supplementary
Regulations, and any Further Regulations or Instructions issued by the Organisers. This Event will be conducted under
and in accordance with CAMS OH&S and Risk Management Policies, which can be found on the CAMS website at
www.cams.com.au

2. Permit: The event will be conducted under the following CAMS Organising Permit Number. 512/1103/01
3. Name of the Event: Motorkhana Series, Round 1.
4. Type of Event: Multi Club Motorkhana, open to members of SA Clubs affiliated with CAMS which will incorporate a
non-competitive Come & Try component (refer to section 35 of the supplementary regulations).
5. The Event will be held at Woolworths Distribution Centre, Monarto, SA
6 The Event will be held on a Concrete Surface.
7 Number of Tests conducted will be a minimum of 4 tests.
8 There will be two runs per test and the fastest time will be used in the computation of results. (Method of scoring
will be explained at the Competitors Briefing).
9 Licences: minimum requirement is a CAMS Level 2NS (or 2SE) Licence for entry to the Motorkhana. The
minimum licence requirement is a CAMS Level 1 Licence for entry to the “Come and Try” non-competitive section
of this Motorkhana.

12 Entries Open with publication of these Regulations. Entries close on the day of the event at the end of the scrutiny
time allocated below. Any entries must be made on the official Entry Form (copy attached) with all relevant details
correctly filled out. Entries-to the Event Secretary, c/o the MG Car Club of SA.: Cost $25 (Junior $12); Come &
Try: Cost $30 (which includes the cost of a CAMS Level 1 Licence).
13 Maximum Number of Entries: 70 (refer para 28) to be accepted in order of receipt until places are filled. Maximum
Number of Entries to the “Come and Try” section of the event is 15.
14 Maximum Number of Drivers per Vehicle: 4
15 Scrutiny at Venue: 9.30 am to 10.30am
16 Scrutiny: Competitors are reminded of Article 6 of the National Motorkhana Code and all vehicles must comply with
Schedule A and Group 4H regulations of the CAMS Manual.. The following documents are to be presented at
Scrutiny – completed and signed Entry Form, Club Membership card, CAMS Competition Licence, (Log Book if
issued for vehicle).
(Cars entered in a motorkhana do not require fire extinguishers, bonnet restraints and the like; nor are drivers
required to wear neck-to wrist clothing. Crash helmets are not required to be worn, except for drivers of Specials,
(refer clause 10.4 of the Motorkhana Code and para 36 below), but their use is strongly recommended. Appropriate
footwear is required – no thongs, etc). All apparel shall be in accordance with Schedule D of the current CAMS
Manual. Fuel must be in accordance with Schedule G. Vehicles must be adequately muffled to comply with noise
restrictions.
Any special requirements of the Organising Club are noted as follows: Invitation runs may be held at the end of
competition for a maximum of one hour. These runs will only be available to Level 2NS (minimum) licence holders
driving vehicles scrutineered for the event. Invitation runs are for practice only and will not form part of the
competition.
